A reader of the site asked me a great question.
"What does going to visit a farm with chickens have anything to do with Survivalism?"
Well, how many people have actually visited the chickens they are getting their eggs from? Would they know how chickens feed? How about catching one for, well food purposes? Unfortunately, there are many people, Vegetarians, too, who do not know what it takes to grow the food we have. Groceries are wonderful places, but the food has to start somewhere. Go to the source. Or Learn How To Farm.
This egg came out of the nest of the hen who had just laid it. It was nice and warm on that chilly day.
I think that this is the only time she stood still...
