What could I have done differently?
There really aren't too many things that could have been done differently
with my #1 adventure of Self Sufficiency. Or...
To save water, I could have used a moist towelette to wash the wounds and
my hands. The bad part of these things is the waste that it creates, but the
alcohol would have helped, and there are many brands out there that are soapy,
too.
I did have to walk a little too much to get to the different things in the
van. That is just my laziness showing. I do not clean things up as often as
I should, but if I had, I might not have had everything that I wanted at my
disposal.
After my first Adventure of Self Sufficiency, I reexamined my pack and how
I was using things. I realized that I did not have a few things that I could
need in the future, including the first aide kit in my pack. I was about to
go on an overnight with my pack and just whatever else I could carry. Dollar
stores are great for restocking some items, especially in Halloween season.
