... the Island of Skopelos , in the Greek Aegean sea. Actually, any place
in the Greek countryside or islands would be great. I just have always been
drawn by the Greek mythos, the spareness of the land contrasted with the richness
of the culture. And the Cyrillic alphabet.
Think of going out to your balcony, 
looking
out over water the same color as the sky, walking to the bakery
down the street for fresh breads for breakfast, and then a jaunt down to the
white sand beach.
The whole island is smaller than the city I live in, but it would be worth it. At least to me.
I have a Passport, and a plan for how to get to Greece. I currently have $US200 put aside, but I am working on it.
Now that there has been a lot of trouble, with the hijackings and all, I am not so sure I really want to go, but then again, I do not want to let the terrorists effect me that way. That is what they want.
I have been checking around with the different travel sites and many dipped to a great low price just before the Holidays, but then they have started to creep up again. I should get on the ball and do it!
I have some travel tips I have come up with.
